The Department of Human Resources (DHR) encourages all employees to heighten health awareness, enhance preventive health strategies, and decrease absenteeism from work.

That’s why we’ve established the City of Atlanta Wellness Center, which is made up of the Health Center and Fitness Center across from City Hall, as well as other Fitness Centers in various locations across the City.

Our hope is that by using the activities, services and programs offered through the COA Wellness Center, our employees can reduce the incidence and severity of costly chronic diseases and improve their quality of life.
